Healthcare Leadership and Advocacy Track

Do you envision being a leader or advocate at the healthcare system level?

Residents at Olive View are invited to join the new, innovative Healthcare Leadership and Advocacy Track during the second or third year.

The longitudinal, 12-month curriculum aims to foster leadership skills for both hospital- and clinic-based practices and to develop deeper understanding of health disparities while engaging in advocacy. The track emphasizes core elements of leadership training, high-value care models, steps to engaging and leading advocacy levels and community partner engagement.

Capstone Project

Residents will engage in advocacy work in Sacramento, CA or Washington, DC.
