Welcome to Block 0!
And welcome new interns! We love you already.
Block 0 is a bit weird… but here’s what you need to know if you are on Amb Med.
- Block 0 is only ~1 week long: from Friday (6/24/16) thru Wednesday (6/29/16)
- That means switch day is on Friday (6/24/16)
- There will be no morning didactics or POM session this week
- Upcoming R2s will be assigned either clinic shifts or be paired up as designed buddies in the outpatient setting (see “buddy system” email for details)
- Say farewell and give a big hug to the outgoing R3s when you see them this week. We will miss them dearly…
For the incoming interns (just FYI):
All clinics are located on the second floor of the hospital
Clinic A = Primary care clinic or Renal clinic (on Thurs)
Clinic C = Speciality clinics (Cardiology, GI/Pulm, Hem/Onc, Endo)
Clinic E = Rheumatology clinics (Friday)
Morning clinic shifts start at 8am, afternoon clinic shifts starts after noon conference 1pm
