Before you start:
- Review the Hematology-Oncology Wards Orientation Packet: Hematology-Oncology Wards Orientation 2015
- Review your schedule on AMION, including days off. You should average one day off per week.
- Expect an email from the Chief Residents, which will include hand-off assignments.
- One day prior to your rotation, contact the outgoing housestaff for sign-out.
On the day you start:
- Receive hand-off from the cross-cover by meeting the Night Float Intern in the Cafeteria from 7:00-7:30am.
- You can signout to the respective Red or Blue night float intern at 4:00pm
- Make sure your pager is unforwarded!
