Welcome to the Olive View-UCLA Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship Training Program.
Thank you for taking an interest in our highly competitive program. As a graduate of the program myself, I can attest to the strength and well-roundedness of the program. We offer a vigorous clinical experience at three locations with Olive View-UCLA acting as home base and where our continuity clinics take place.

I would like to take a moment to highlight some unique aspects of our program as you embark on your fellowship program search.

  1. Our program offers fellows the opportunity to build a panel of your own patients and follow them longitudinally  over time. This is an invaluable experience and one that not every fellowship program can offer.
  2. We emphasize a balance between clinical duties and didactic responsibilities.
  3. Our fellows are taught to function independently from day one (with coaching and supervision from readily available attendings) and to really develop their decision-making skills, making the transition to independent practice quite seamless.

We are looking for an incoming class with a diverse background and strong foundational knowledge of Internal Medicine, who is ready for a challenge and enthusiastic about learning and caring for patients.

Best of luck to you this application season and look forward to hearing from you.
