While the county hospital is home for our program, we offer a breadth of clinical training across three major medical systems. It is an advantage for our graduates to be prepared to practice Oncology in any health care system.

Olive View-UCLA Medical Center
The home base for the fellowship program is Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, a Los Angeles County hospital located in the northern part of the San Fernando Valley.
Olive View-UCLA Medical Center is dedicated to serving high quality healthcare to our surrounding community. It is a referral center for northern Los Angeles County, capturing patients from the San Fernando, Santa Clarita, and Antelope Valleys. The population and pathology we see are diverse, providing for a rich learning environment.
While the current main hospital opened in 1987, the site has served as a hospital since 1980 as a tuberculosis sanitorium. Today, the medical center provides:
- 377 inpatient beds
- 51-bed Emergency Department
- Urgent CAre
- Outpatient specialty and subspecialty clinics

Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center
The Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center is a 464-bed hospital serving as the flagship hospital for Kaiser Permanente Southern California HMO network. It serves as a tertiary referral center for complex cancer cases.
