As a member of the Olive View-UCLA Internal Medicine Residency Program’s management team, Mr. DeVany is dedicated to the improvement of education through professional management. Mark DeVany arrived at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center in the spring of 2004 from his position at the UCLA Department of Medicine, Education Office. While at UCLA Mr. DeVany was the Education Coordinator for all medical student clinical clerkships and elective sub-internships for the Department of Medicine. This extensive background in medical student education provides him with a unique vision for enhancing our housestaff’s training experience. Mark is a motivated, energetic, efficient and organized member of the Housestaff Education Committee (HEC) and the Intern Recruitment and Selections Committee and serves as a liaison between the program and all relevant internal and external agencies.
